A true “Hong Kong Pride”, Tommy joined the studio of LI&Co. in 2000. Graduated with a degree in interior design, he has been practicing as an interior designer and a project manager for more than 20 years. Completed projects ranging from private residences, restaurants, to luxury boutiques and hotels. Growing with the expansion of the company, he is currently managing a team of internal staff, sub-consultants in Hong Kong and Taipei, plus collaborators from all over Asia. Besides arts and designs, Tommy’s other passion is European football. An avid football player himself, he has learned from the game, to lead and work within a team of key players consisting of landlords, clients and collaborators.
Brought up in the US, Johnny graduated at the Rhode Island School of Design with a double bachelor degree in Architecture and Fine Arts. He had worked at international architecture and design companies Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in New York, Koetter, Kim & Associates of Canary Wharf in London, and Herman Czech & Architects in Vienna, before joining Rocco Design in Hong Kong. In 1998, he set up LI&Co. Design Limited with his collaborator, David Gibb. Johnny is interested in designs that amalgamate different cultures, arts and architecture. His design inspirations are often taken from his travels, his love of cinema, and the basic tenets of fine arts and architecture.
Wayne began as a young design intern with LI&Co. more than a decade ago. He has gradually matured to become a Senior Associate in managing the internal IT system within the office. Growing with the company, the rapid expansion of the office, computer 3D rendered drawings and CAD became crucial tools within LI&Co. He can be often found nestled at home binging on Netflix. Wayne uses the analogy of creating an interior with movie making, that the process of preparation and arrangements in order to create a beautiful project relies on every details with precision. The process is often more exciting throughout the journey than the Finali.
After pursing two degrees in interior design over five years of study in both London and Taipei, Ryan has been exposed to a diverse spectrum of working experience in both Eastern and Western design philosophies. Upon receiving his master’s degree at the University of Westminster London, he had worked at one of the top interior design firms in London focusing on high-end residential projects prior to joining with LI&Co. Curious of global culture, Ryan loves seeing new sights and experiencing hospitalities from continent to continent, a true globe trotter. Often new inspirations were discovered in the middle of a journey to somewhere exotic.
Esther graduated as a textile designer for the renowned Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her fascination to combine shape, texture and colour led her to a career as Stylist. Esther is based in Hong Kong and serves a worldwide roster of award-winning clients that includes interior architects, brand agencies, hospitality groups, property developers and retailers. Esther’s experienced eye loves to find artifacts that will enhance the character of spaces. Since 2008 she has collaborated with LI&Co. to source the finishing touches for many of their projects.
“…My eyes wandered off via the view finder, the first time my father coached me on how to SEE through a camera. I was about 6 at the time”, the young and aspired film director began his story. Photography initiated the start and cinematography gave Adrian a deeper understanding about telling stories as he progressed. Over the years, he has drawn more inferences from his surroundings into his photography and videography. As he continues to tell a vivid narrative, his subjects and characters became more complex and alive. Adrian has been collaborating with LI&Co. since 2016
A much younger generation of contributors are joining our team, an evolution since the founding of our design studio; to bring in fresh ideas to this rapidly changing world of modern technology. Sophia’s first proposal was to revamp the company website from ground zero. Without hesitation, LI&Co. embarked on the tedious process in planning, testing and implementing with the helps from the website designer, film director, photographers, stylist and various contributors. The journey was not without hurdles and bumps, yet the end result is worth all of the sweat and occasional heated debates. The energetic Sophia, a champion in American soccer, is taking on the challenge of revamping our Instagram next.
Founded UDA Associates Taipei in 2013, David has been in the design and construction business for more than a decade. UDA specializes in residential and commercial spaces. From construction/renovation, interior fitting-out of soft finishing, landscape design to overall project management, UDA provides design and built services tailor to its client’s needs.
Working along side with LI&Co. to support the future development of both companies within Taiwan, David is also the Marketing Director for LI&Co.’s supporting office in Taipei.

Terry, a graduate of the Southern Illinois University, is the co-founder of Illuminating Solutions with dual bases in London and Hong Kong. Terry's extensive knowledge in lighting technology earns him a reputation among his peers. Besides his technical expertise, Terry is constantly linking and gathering the team of experts in the creative fields. Terry has been advising LI&Co. on various projects, which included PUYI Optical and PMQ, since 2013.
Josh’s interest in photography peaked during his time in college, where his initial leisure pastime gradually became a profession. A self-taught photographer, Josh approaches every visual encounter as a learning and photographic opportunity and has discovered that nature is his most eloquent teacher with its ever changing faces.

Tim is working as an architectural assistant at LI&Co. since 2017. After graduating from university with a degree in finance, Tim decided to pursue his passion in architecture, while working full time in a multinational bank. His ambition helps him to excel in learning computer aided design and modeling, despite working at a part-time capacity. Tim is also mastering the presentation skill in PowerPoint and Photoshop, helping out in the design studio. He hopes to continue his education with a master degree in architecture, combining his skills in finance Tim is looking forward to take on a new challenge in urban design. Both the Architectural Association and the University of Hong Kong had invited him to join in as part time scholar during his recent enrollments. His loves of photography, sketching and novels often provided design inspirations in solving complicated issues with an edge.
